جناب یوسف امامی‌پور دارای تحصیلات برتردکتری تخصصی بیوتکنولوژی گیاهی از دانشگاه UPM از کشور مالزی هستند که در حیطه کشت زیره بسیار مجرب و ماهر می‌باشند. ایشان فعالیت‌های مفیدی در راستای تخصص خود انجام داده و مجری و مشاور طرح‌های زیادی در حوزه تخصص خود بوده‌اند که موارد زیر نمونه‌ای از آن‌ها می‌باشند: 

طرح های اجرایی:

• مجری طرح های تحقیقاتی جنگل، مرتع و آبخیزداری در مرکز تحقیقات کشاورزی و منابع طبیعی استان 1380 تا کنون
• انجام طرح سازگاری اکالیپتوس در شهداد، بردسیر، راور و زرند 1385-1383
• مشاور احداث بادشکن اکالیپتوس (200،000 اصله)  به منظور حفاظت 400 هکتار اراضی کشاورزی شهداد
